Finished Broken Cube
Okay, so I already posted the start of this project, before it was glazed. Eventually I got around to glazing it, I didn't seem to finish glazing the cube though, and a couple weeks later I picked it up and just threw another glaze, and hoped that it went well. I mean, I don't think that it looks too bad, it's just a little spotty.
Bob-omb
I actually took a lot more time with this project than I have with any other project, because I actually wanted to try to get it right. I made this Bob-omb with coils, we were assigned to do one coil bowl where it is apparent that it was made with coils and one bowl where it wasn't. This bowl is a representation of the coils that aren't noticeable. The only thing that I wish I had done differently was actually use white glaze on the white parts, but it had slipped my mind.

Slab House

This mushroom project was my favorite one that I had done, that was until I saw how ugly the glaze came out to be. At least the white glaze looks pretty nice in this picture, minus the tiny spot in the glaze.
Broken Cube
An obviously incomplete project, is my broken cube project. When I had first started this project it was scary to break down the cube that I already made because abstract is hard for me I guess? But it's fine, my personal favorite part of is it the ATTEMPT that I made at adding a dinosaur to the back.
My Pumpkin
This pumpkin was originally gonna be fit with the logo of, the band, PVRIS. Once I started to attempt to add their logo I realized that it was too tough, and I have no idea were the idea of Pac-man came from, but it works.
My First Time on the Wheel
Going on the wheel was just another thing that I had put off for as long as I possibly could, I was just convinced that I was bad at ceramics in general, and that going on the wheel would be even worse. I'd like to think that this piece came out pretty well, with a massive amount of help.

My Inspiration
Now, I know that this post is going to sound super lame because everyone says this, but the only inspiration that comes to mind for me is music. I don't even mean a specific genre of music, if I feel a song then I feel it, doesn't even matter if it by J. Biebs or T. Swizzle. TLC even inspires me; with No Scrubs, Waterfalls, and more. As I'm writing this I'm listening to My Friends Over You by New Found Glory, pretty inspiring song, if I say so myself. Whenever I hear a song and it can be related to a certain thing that I'm going through then I'll attach myself to it. During that moment of my life I may listen to this song on repeat all day long, or just come back to it whenever I need. By doing this it sort of creates a bittersweet memory system, when I listen to a song that I've attached myself to in the past I feel what I felt at that time, and maybe I'll even feel nostalgic. I think that's my favorite part about music, even though I haven't took the time to learn an instrument myself, I still feel attached to it.
More often than not I go for a video game related project over a music related one though, only because if I were to make a music one it would probably end up being a lame band logo. I had actually made an attempt at the band Pvris' logo, but that ended up becoming a Pac-Man pumpkin. Because why not? I'll definitely end up making a band related ceramics piece, I always end up finding a way to add them to my projects.
